I have discovered a new place to study animal figures. It is called the Wildlife Experience, located in Parker Colorado. They have some very nice African lions, Leopards and Cheetahs, as well as a collection of Colorado large game animals.
The Society of Animal Artists show is in the main gallery until Feb. 18th, then there will be a show of work by Robert Bateman beginning March 1, 2008. I am especially looking forward to the upcomng show "The horse in fine art," opening June 7, 2008.
I have attached my silverpoint drawing of a couple of Dall sheep.
